When the spiral shaft rotates of powder screw feeder, gravity and the friction between the material and the trough wall keep the material from rotating synchronously with the spiral blades. The rotating blades exert a pushing force on the material, making it move forward along the bottom of the conveyor trough-just like a nut fixed in position moving along a rotating screw. The primary power for material movement is the axial force from the rotating spiral blades, which drives the material forward along the blade's tangent direction to finish the conveying process.
