Characteristics of vertical automatic packaging machine

Key working principle
The core operating principle of a Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machine consists of five steps: bag formation, metering, filling, sealing, and cutting.
(1). Film coiling and forming:
The packaging material is placed in a roll on the machine and conveyed to the forming unit via guide rollers and tensioning devices. The forming machine rolls the film into a cylindrical shape, which is then wrapped around the surface of the filling tube to create the initial configuration of the bag cylinder.
(2). Longitudinal heat sealing:
The film interface rolled into a cylinder is heated and sealed using a longitudinal heat sealer to form a sealed tube, providing the foundation for subsequent transverse sealing and filling.
(3). Metered filling:
The metering device delivers the material (granules, powders, liquids, etc.) to the filling tube according to the preset weight or volume, and fills it into the bag cylinder. The weighing method may employ screw elevators, bucket elevators, or other devices suitable for the material properties, with a precision of up to ±0.5 grams.
(4). Lateral heat sealing and cutting:
After filling is complete, the lateral heat sealer seals the bag opening while simultaneously cutting to form an independent packaging bag. The horizontal and vertical sealing temperatures can be independently adjusted to ensure a secure & aesthetically pleasing seal.
(5). Final product output:
The sealed packaging bags are discharged via a conveying system and proceed to subsequent processes, such as boxing or palletizing.
