Proper Operation of Industrial Dust Collectors

Pre-operation Preparation
‌Personnel Qualification Check‌: Operators must be professionally trained and certified; they must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as dust masks and protective gloves.
‌Equipment Inspection‌: Clear debris from the housing, check the flexibility of drive components and apply lubricant, and verify that filter bags are intact and housing welds are properly sealed.
‌Auxiliary System Verification‌: Test the reliability of control circuit wiring, confirm the induced draft fan and motor are functioning correctly, and ensure the compressed air system pressure is stable between 0.4 and 0.6 MPa.

Standardized Commissioning Process
‌No-load Commissioning‌: Connect the power supply to check the sealing of butterfly valves and test the operation of pneumatic components and the dust cleaning mechanism.
‌Dust-laden Trial Run‌: Start the induced draft fan without load until process ventilation requirements are met; initially keep the dust cleaning mechanism off to allow an initial filtration layer to form on the filter bag surfaces, then gradually determine the optimal cleaning cycle.

Operational Control
‌Real-time Parameter Monitoring‌: Record the inlet temperature (at the control cabinet) and the induced draft fan's operating current every half hour; ensure the operating temperature remains within the filter bags' rated limit (below 120°C).
‌Dynamic Operational Adjustment‌: Regularly inspect duct sealing; adjust the dust cleaning frequency based on pressure differential changes; strictly prohibit equipment operation below the gas dew point temperature.
‌Prompt Handling of Anomalies‌: Immediately shut down and troubleshoot the system if issues such as damaged filter bags or sudden pressure differential fluctuations occur, preventing continued operation with unresolved faults.
